New York City, Dr. Richard Jacks is a creator of perfumes. He spends all of his days try to invent the next best thing in the industry. His girlfriend, Sarah, sometimes gets pushed to the side, but he loves her. One day, he discovers that his great-grandfather,Dr. Jekyll, was a scientist with a secret: a revolutionary discovery. Richard tries to follow in footsteps of his Dr. Jekyll and creates perfumes, each greater than the next. But one gives him more than he bargained for. Richard is transformed into the buxom bombshell, Helen Hyde. Helen is a powerhouse and a woman with a plan. The catch is, Richard doesn't know she exists. As he finds himself in situations that are more ridiculous than the last, Richard becomes aware of his alter ego and makes a plan to get rid of her once and for all. But, Helen's career is growing, she won't go without a fight.

The efficient Jack and his assistant Ty find a colony of mutant rats and try to convince the health department administrator and former partner of Jack, Ray Jarrett, how serious the infestation is. But the politician Ray is interested in covering the problem to protect economical interests of powerful groups.

An ex-con moves into an old apartment building, where he encounters a domestic problem involving a police officer, his wife, and their daughter. When he tries to intervene, however, a mysterious curse entraps him.

Frank Falenczyk loves his job. He just happens to be the hit-man for his Polish mob family in Buffalo, New York. But Frank's got a drinking problem and when he messes up a critical assignment that puts the family business in peril, his uncle sends him to San Francisco to clean up his act. Frank is not a touchy-feely kind of guy, but he starts going to AA meetings, gets a sponsor and a job at a mortuary where he falls for the tart-tongued Laurel, a woman who is dangerously devoid of boundaries. Meanwhile, things aren't going well in Buffalo where an upstart Irish gang is threatening the family business. When violence erupts, Frank is forced to return home and with an unlikely assist from Laurel, faces old rivals on new terms.
